Hi friends, just wanted to fill you in on the progress of our website. We should be up and running by the end of August. We are in the process of finishing our photography and captions and getting the mechanics tweaked. Our temporary store at Stone Cottage Gardens will end at the end of August and our web store will open. Our web store will allow you to shop imagine right from your home or office without having to get in the car and drive. Our special gift wrap service will still be in place and we will be offering special delivery services. Need a gift for someones birthday or housewarming. We can create a great package for you and deliver it directly to the recipient. Plus many other services and products will be offered as well.

Hi friends, Boy has it been that long since I last posted a item? Sorry about that, still new to the whole blog world thing. Anyhow, for those of you who didn't get a chance to stop by the store the month of June, we are sad to say due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to move out of our location at 319 Cattell Street on College Hill, Easton. Where did we go? Well that location has not yet been determined. We are activly searching for a new location for the shop now. We want to make sure the space we land at will be the very best location for all our customers. So, if you have any suggestions let us know. It has been a very hectic and busy last month and half preparing for this move, and we are very sorry we have not informed all of you yet. So, What were the circumstances? Well, this has been a decision that we have been on the fence about for the past year and a half. We leased the space and our building had changed hands and of course, with that a significant rent increase came along with it. With the rent, the high utility costs of an old building and the lack of a good paper lease it just wasn't feasible anymore. Where can you can our best sellers? On our new website! You can go to www.imaginecardsandgifts.com where you will be able to shop for our best sellers and more. You can also check there for news, sales, special events we may be having and so on. If your not computer savy, we have set up a temporary satelite spot at a new garden nursery in Pen Argyl called Stone Cottage Gardens. A very attractive and whimsical nursery that is laid out as if you were walking through a country cottage garden. Along with perennials and shrubs is a stone cottage housing a lovely gift shop where you will find a mini Imagine Cards N Gifts. If you have any other questions, give us a shout! Handbag Workshop

On Thursday, June 5th Imagine will be having a Handbag Workshop - No Sewing Required! You'll get the chance to customize your very own handbag to match your sassy style. How it works: I will have many fabric swatches for you to choose from, in lots of colors and various prints. I will also have 3-4 different style handbags you can select from. You pick the bag style, the color and print/s you like - I will sew it all together for you! Bags can be customized to fit your needs if need be. Turn around will be around a week or so, depending on the number of bags I have to sew. Each handbag will cost $30.00. A $15.00 deposit will be taken when bag is ordered. No need to sign up, you can stop by the store anytime between 10 am and 8pm (we'll be open late that night.) Bring your mom, sister and/or friend for a girls day out. See you then!

Open House Reminder

Hi Friends! Just wanted to remind you of our Trunk Show Open House this Saturday (5/3). We will have some great jewelry pieces, new aprons, handbags, kids items and more just in time for Mother's Day which is May 11th! We have great Mother's Day cards in also. Caring Buttons

I have been working on a new product for the store. I have taken my love for old buttons and have made them into colorful, unique, one of a kind bracelets. Vintage buttons from years ago are so special in design, color, shape and size. I had some really cute buttons from a collection of my grandmothers and decided to make a bracelet for myself. I got so many compliments on this bracelet that I decided to put some together for the store. If your looking for something a little different, or just looking for a little something special, these would be great. No one bracelet is the same, they are all different and I do mix a little new with the old. Since I originally made them Just for Fun!, I have decided to donate $5.00 of every bracelet sold to a worth while charity or group. My first group of interest is the "Della Fund" of the Center for Animal Health and Welfare. The Della Fund provides very much needed medical care and treatment to sick, abused, and injured animals that come into the shelter. It pays for medicine, vet bills, operations, bandages, food, blankets, utilities to run the facility and so much more than you could possibly imagine. What a great gift to give a friend whether it be a human friend or one with a furry coat. The Caring Bracelets retail for $15.00 ea. Hey Boss, this would make a great Admin. Professionals day gift!

Spring Open House

Hi Friends of Imagine, I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was busy. I've been working on some new handbags for our Spring Open House. Which by the way is going to be Saturday, May 3rd from 10am - 5pm. This years Spring Open House we have decided to feature our Handcrafted Items that we carry in the store along with their very own creators. We are calling it an Open House Trunk Show, where some of our handcrafted vendors will be displaying some of their work and be on hand to answer any questions. We will have refreshments, secret discounts and coloring projects for the kids! There will be a lot going on that day in Easton! We will be having our Open House Trunk Show, the Easton Farmers Market will be opening up for the season and I believe the House Tour will be happening that day as well. All of which make it a great day to come to Easton. I'll have more info for you closer to the date, we hope you can make it!

Rewards Program

Friends of Imagine, With the cost of goods rising, we all feel the effects and now more so than ever, we are more selective on where and how we spend our money. That is why we have two new programs that we would like to share with you. First is our new Imagine Dollars Reward Program. For every $200.00 you spend, we will give you a $20.00 credit towards your next visits. There will be no cards or coupons to keep track of, we will do it all for you. Each Reward Program member will have a card on file which we will use to track your purchases. There is no cost to join the program, just ask for a card to fill out. It's that easy. That leads us to our 2nd new program. On each Rewards Card is a line for your Birthday (don't worry year not required). Every year on the month of your birthday, you will receive a special gift. So not only can you earn free cards with our current Frequent Card Program, you can also earn store credit and special gifts too!
When heading out to purchase your next gift, think about shopping at your small hometown stores. Your be supporting a better community!

Hi Friends! This is my very first blog, so pardon any of my mistakes. I'm starting this blog so we all can stay up to date with each other and to let all of you know about some of the great things we are going to be offering and doing thru out the year. Plus, let us know how a gift went over or is there something special your looking for, or how your holiday went, it doesnt matter what. We'll still send out our occassional postcards for bigger events, but by posting in store specials and letting you know about new products that arrive in the store on our new blog not only cuts back on paper mail being lugged around by our dear postman (sorry gary) and being piled in our landfills, the cost savings allow us to offer more promotions to you guys! Promotions that may have only come 3-4 times a year, may appear monthly, weekly, or even daily! So, I hope you will put us in your favorites and check in with us once in a while. And by all means, tell your friends too!
This might be slow going at first, but be patient with me and it just might be worth the while.
